Her background includes: operations analyst and human factors engineer for Grumman Aerospace electronic intelligence and countermeasures systems, aerospace reliability engineer for General Dynamics, electronics instructor, senior systems analyst, science/technology writer/editor/producer for magazines and film, high-tech marcom consultant, radio producer/engineer, author of “Communicating with the universe” chapter in Year Million: Science at the Far Edge of Knowledge, member of the Space Development Steering Committee and the board of directors of the National Space Society, and patent writer/inventor/manager in biomedical, biophysics, and nanoelectronics areas. She hold a BS in psychology/mathematics from the U. of Nebraska.
