The Dictionary of Foresight Project attempts to authoritatively define and explain terms used in exploring the future.

It begins with the glossary from Futuring: The Exploration of the Future. An international Board of Editors is currently being assemble from the Professional Membership of the World Future Society.

Forecasting models

Thanks a lot for the dictionary.
Forecasting the future is very similar to what is used in soccer predictions today. When predicting the future three main things have to be taken into account: the statistical models defining the scientific future, the influencing factors which cannot be scientifically analyzed and predicted, and factors, which are unexpected.
